Ask anyone what they remember most about a performance with Téja and their answer will most likely be her infectious smile! However, it’s her killer bass-playing that keeps her working! With the eagerness of a novice, yet the restraint and focus of a more seasoned player, Téja is a musician’s musician.
Equal parts Verdine White, James Jamerson and Marcus Miller – all wrapped up in a sweetly soulful voice (think Corrine Bailey-Rae meets Gretchen Parlato), there’s no one way to define Téja’s sound.
[Artists Téja has worked with most recently include Janelle Monáe (currently serving as her touring bassist), Musiq Soulchild, Frank McComb, Kenny Lattimore, Angie Stone and Chandra Currelley].

Wahid Gomes is a tp level audio engineer and all around great guy. He made my tracks pop like never before. I recommend him and his tech services very highly. Top shelf! Thank you Sir!
I’m a singer, and I needed some new demo tracks in a hurry – the tracks had to sound professional and on point in order to book gigs with my particular sector of potential clients. Wahid called me promptly after I had requested quotes for sound technicians on Thumbtack – he was able to fit me in the next day, and by that night, I had 3 polished songs of the highest quality in my hands ready to be distributed to those who could hire me. The actual recording experience was so refreshing and pleasant – Wahid immediately understood what I needed and knew just what to do to produce what I wanted. The studio environment was relaxing, and Wahid set the tone with his calm, unhurried attitude. I think I produced some of my best vocal improv and stylings being in that space and collaborating with someone with such good energy and savvy skill.
DRS Studio has continuously exceeded our expectations with impeccable and professional studio services, flexibility and creativity. Wahid and his team are highly skilled professionals who elevate the standard for studio excellence when recording, mixing and mastering our numerous productions over many years.

I had been on the hunt for a good quality sound studio to record my mixtape and I ended up finding a studio with great quality and prices. I invested my time at Dammahum Recording Studio because they are very professional (main key). The fact that I hadn’t recorded here before, I was a bit curious how my overall project would turn out. Well, to make a long story short this studio is absolutely amazing. From the time booked from the time i finished, I was respected and treated with great generosity. I’m a known female lyricists but i can hit a tune or two. Shoutout to Wahid – he made sure i was on point with new ideas on my vocals. Singing isn’t my passion but with Wahid as a vocal coach, he’s awesome. Catch a session with him, he will have you creating sounds, you never knew you had in you.
