HEARING IS BELIEVING!
GIK Acoustics to Demonstrate Treated vs Untreated Room
at T.H.E. Show-Newport Beach

GIK Acoustics, a leading manufacturer and seller of top-quality acoustical absorption and diffusion products will exhibit at The Home Entertainment Show-Newport Beach at the Hotel Irvine from May 29-31, 2015.

This year GIK Acoustics will give attendees the opportunity to hear a demonstration of acoustic treatments in Rooms 1348 and 1349. We’ll move treatments in and out of the listening area throughout the day to give a firsthand experience of the impact acoustic panels and bass traps have on a room. Don’t let your ears miss this!

As in previous years, GIK Acoustics has partnered with Klaus Bunge of Odysseyaudio.com, maker of the Khartago/Cyclops amplifiers family, Stratos amplifier family, Candela and Tempest preamplifiers as well as the Lorelei and Epiphony II speakers.

GIK Acoustics will also debut our Tri-Trap Corner Bass Traps with FlexRange Technology Range Limiter.

GIK Acoustics first introduced FLEXRANGE TECHNOLOGY in 2013 on our 244 Bass Traps and Monster Bass Traps. FlexRange Technology is GIK Acoustics’ unique, patent-pending system for providing the best in bass trapping and low end absorption. With FlexRange, customers have a choice between Full Range and Range Limiter options.

Full Range is a broadband option perfect for controlling low end frequencies and is the preferred choice when upper frequencies need 100% absorption.

Range Limiter option includes a built-in membrane system which starts absorbing at a lower frequency but also has a cut off starting around 400Hz. Using the Range Limiter option ensures maximum low end absorption while retaining nearly 100% of the upper frequencies within your room. Ideally used when no upper frequency absorption is required/desired.

GIK Acoustics President Glenn Kuras says, “By expanding the FlexRange Technology options to our very popular Tri-Traps, we are offering customers the opportunity to better maximize low end absorption. And we’re excited to debut this new option at T.H.E. Show Newport Beach.”

FlexRange Technology options on Tri-Trap Corner Bass Traps will be available summer 2015.
